National Centre for Animal Health

The National Centre for Animal Health, Department of Livestock, Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, Royal Government of Bhutan, is delighted to share the latest update on Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) vaccination program in the country.

Since August 19, 2023, a remarkable effort has led to the successful vaccination of 231,906 bovines (cattle, yak, mithun and buffalo) in 203 Gewogs of 20 Dzongkhags.
