National Centre for Animal Health

The National Centre for Animal Health, Department of Livestock, Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, Royal Government of Bhutan, is delighted to share the latest update on Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) vaccination program in the country.

Since August 19, 2023, a remarkable effort has led to the successful vaccination of 238,891 bovines (cattle, yak, mithun and buffalo) in 205 Gewogs and Thromdes of 20 Dzongkhags.
