𝟐𝟑 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑: Sarpang and Trashigang become the 9th and 10th Dzongkhags to achieve 100% sterilization of free roaming dogs. Additionally Gelephu Throm achieved 100% sterilization making it the first Throm to achieve 100% sterilization of free-roaming dogs. NADPM&RCP congratulates and thanks everyone who has worked tirelessly to achieve this goal.
This achievement demonstrates the team’s commitment to animal welfare and will help prevent animal suffering, reduce the risk of dog bites, and promote community health.
