๐๐ ๐๐๐ฒ, ๐๐๐๐: The Department of Livestock convened a meeting with key stakeholders, including representatives from the livestock sectors of Samtse, Wangdue, Mongar, and Samdrupjongkhar Dzongkhag, as well as the Bhutan Livestock Development Corporation Limited (BLDCL), to strategize the livestock product supply chain to Gyalsung academies and strengthen the operational efficiencies.
Discussions centered on crucial areas such as refining supply chain management strategies, evaluating the prices of livestock products, and strengthening production capacities at famerโs level. Stakeholders emphasized the need to adopt effective production planning to ensure sustainable and consistent delivery of safe, high-quality products to Gyalsuung academies.
Additionally, a formal signing of an agreement delineating the roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders was completed in order to ensure effective collaboration. This agreement, endorsed by the Department of Livestock (DoL), BLDCL, and Dzongkhag Livestock sectors lays the foundation for a cohesive and synchronized approach towards ensuring a robust supply chain.
