On November 26, the Director, along with the Chiefs of the Department, met with the staff of Trashiyangtse Dzongkhag, including the DLO, LPO, and Livestock Supervisors. The Director acknowledged the remarkable progress made by the Dzongkhag over the years and expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Dzongkhag staff for their commitment and hard work in delivering efficient services to farmers.
She applauded the ambitious targets set under the 13th Five-Year Plan and the Dzongkhagโs confidence in achieving them. Highlighting the importance of clear direction, she stressed the need for strategic implementation to effectively meet these objectives.
The Director also emphasized the critical role of leadership in achieving excellence, urging all staff to uphold strong leadership qualities while focusing on the shared goal of efficient service delivery to farmers. She noted that the Ministryโs ambitious new plan period aims to secure economic prosperity with a target GDP contribution of Nu. 50 billion, where the livestock sector plays a pivotal role. To accomplish this, she encouraged everyone to demonstrate competence and commitment, with leaders providing direction, drive, and motivation to inspire teams and institutions to achieve desired outcomes.
The Director and team will proceed to Pemagatshel Dzongkhag on November 27, after briefly meeting with the staff of Regional Livestock Development Centre in Kanglung.
